ArchOSX System with CC MAGic Module

  1. System Objective: The Address Module and Geocoder are systems designed to support the management and processing of address data. Their primary purpose is to store, verify, and transform address and geographic data from various sources into a unified format.
  2. Functionalities of the Address Module:
    • Data Storage:
      • Supports current and historical address data.
      • Segregates deleted and modified addresses into dedicated historical tables.
      • Establishes relational links between addresses, locations, and streets to reflect changes in naming conventions.
    • Data Import from External Sources:
      • Handles data from PRG, TERYT, NOBC, and PNA.
      • Processes data in various formats (XML, CSV, TXT) to build a unified database.
    • Data Validation:
      • Verifies data consistency with external registers, e.g., TERYT and PNA.
      • Automatically fills in missing information, such as postal codes and street identifiers.
    • Data Export:
      • Provides the capability to export data in formats optimized for various applications.
  3. Functionalities of the Geocoder:
    • Processing Spatial Data:
      • Interprets address data based on geographic coordinates.
      • Converts spatial data into formats optimized for performance.
    • Support for Spatial Searching:
      • Enables finding addresses based on their historical versions.
      • Analyzes and matches addresses based on geographic proximity.
    • Integration with Address Data:
      • Enhances spatial data using processed records from the Address Module.

  1. Processes in the Modules:
    • Data Import:
      • Downloads and processes data from PRG (e.g., address points in GML format).
      • Integrates data from TERYT, including historical names.
      • Completes data with PNA (e.g., postal codes) and NOBC (e.g., information about the number of residential units).
    • Validation and Verification:
      • Verifies addresses at the locality and street levels.
      • Identifies and flags data inconsistent with TERYT.
    • Export and Publication:
      • Prepares address data for export in various formats.
      • Optimizes data for geocoding and spatial queries.
  2. Algorithms and Mechanisms:
    • Implements advanced mechanisms for comparing location and street names.
    • Resolves conflicts in address numbers through precise rules for data interpretation.
